Out of Italy: a final choice

I was born in the small town of Asti, in Italy, on January 12, 1993.

I was 10 years old when I was studying in the primary school. Our teacher was telling the fairy tale "............."; after finished the teacher asked to the class to make a composition about what we just heard, but instead of that, I wrote a letter to the world leaders addressed to my teacher. She was so touched that she forwarded that letter to the President of the Italian Republic : Sandro Pertini.

She made me understand that if we respect the more tiny and helpless creature in this world we will develop that kind of mercy and love for life that will make us all become totally respectful human rights, freedom and democracy.

I soon started to develop interest in other fields such as human rights, social injustice and environment protection.

I learned about human rights abuse and started to work at local level first, then international, with Members of Parliaments and various organizations, for avoid those abuse to be committed. My work became every day more .......
